American Collectors Insurance Launches Virtual Car Show Contest

Leading insurance brand also unveils redesigned website for enhanced customer experience and helpful resources for the collector car community

CONSHOHOCKEN, Pa.May 26, 2020 /PRNewswire/ — Calling all collector car enthusiasts! American Collectors Insurance, one of the nation’s leading providers of classic and collector car insurance solutions, is launching its first-ever virtual car show contest in search of the most impressive collector cars across the country.

From May 25 – 31, 2020, collector car owners can visit AmericanCollectors.com and submit a photo of their classic car in either of the following car show categories:

  • Domestic Collector Car: featuring collector and classic cars made in the USA
  • Foreign Collector Car: featuring exotic/foreign/import cars made overseas
  • Most Fun Collector Car: featuring convertibles and cars that are ideal for fun, pleasure rides
  • Most Unique Collector Car: featuring rare vehicles or custom-built cars designed specifically for the owner’s unique taste
  • Best In Show: featuring any award-winning collector cars

All approved entries will be displayed in a gallery on the website and visitors can vote for their favorite collector and classic cars during the week of June 1 – 7, 2020. American Collectors Insurance will reveal the winners on June 8, 2020 with first, second and third place finishers in each category winning a commemorative trophy. Additionally, first place in the “Best in Show” category will win a Mothers® “Best In Show” award bundle.

Campaign encourages pet parents to share the #PawsitiveEffects their furry friends have on their mental health to benefit leading dog therapy nonprofit organization

Cleveland, OH (May 4, 2020) – In times of stress and instability, pets bring their people immense comfort and play an important role in improving their mental health. Embrace Pet Insurance, one of the nation’s top-rated pet insurance programs, is launching a social media campaign in honor of Mental Health Awareness Month in May to educate Americans on how their pets can improve their mental health. The campaign encourages pet parents to share on their Instagram, Twitter or directly to Embrace’s Facebook how their pets have positively impacted their mental health using the hashtag #PawsitiveEffects. For every use of the campaign hashtag, Embrace will donate $5.00 to The Good Dog Foundation — with the goal of raising $5,000 during the month of May.

According to the Human Animal Bond Research Institute (HABRI), one in four adults live with a mental illness, but over 60 percent of those reported less stress, a new sense of purpose, an easier time forming connections and more physical activity in their day-to-day lives thanks to their pets.

NSM Insurance Group Donates $100,000 to Independence Missions Schools

CONSHOHOCKEN, PA (April 8, 2020) – NSM Insurance Group (“NSM”), a leading managing general underwriting agency (“MGU”) and program administrator for specialty insurance programs, has donated $100,000 to Independence Mission Schools (“IMS”), a network of independently financed Catholic schools throughout the Philadelphia region. NSM’s contribution will help IMS supply computers, resources and tuition assistance to children and families. These resources will allow children to continue their education remotely while educational institutions are closed due to the COVID-19 crisis.

CONSHOHOCKEN, PA (March 23, 2020) – NSM Insurance Group (“NSM”), a leading managing general underwriting agency (“MGU”) and program administrator for specialty insurance programs, has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Kingsbridge Group Limited (“Kingsbridge”).  Based in the United Kingdom, Kingsbridge is the leading provider of commercial lines insurance and consulting services to the UK’s high growth contingent workforce.

Geof McKernan, Chief Executive Officer of NSM, stated, “We are excited to expand further in the UK with the acquisition of Kingsbridge, which fits nicely into NSM’s portfolio of niche-focused insurance businesses. NSM Insurance Group Acquires Fresh Insurance

CONSHOHOCKEN, PA., (May 21, 2018) – NSM Insurance Group announced today that their UK arm, Vantage Holdings, has acquired Fresh Insurance Services Group Limited. Fresh Insurance is an insurance broker based in Redditch, West Midlands that specializes in non-standard personal lines products, motor trade, van, and travel insurance. This is the second acquisition made by Vantage Holdings since it was acquired by NSM Insurance Group in December 2016 and forms an integral piece of their growth strategy of expanding in the UK insurance market.
