Strong team bond
Jessica Leimer was curious about an internship at NSM after hearing great things about the company’s summer internship program. She started in the 2016 intern class, splitting her time between the HR and operations teams, and has been here ever since. Jess says this experience allowed her to grow, while also realizing that NSM would be a place she wants to stay long-term. “An internship at NSM gives you the opportunity to work with people, explore career options and feel like an important member of a team.”

With the support of her mentors, Jessica remained on the operations team when she concluded the program. “When I was an intern, I knew I wanted to stay here for a while,” Jessica says. “Honestly, I don’t see myself ever wanting to leave NSM. I love my team; my team is what really makes me stay.” In 2019, Jessica earned a promotion to Operations Analyst II and facilitates communication between NSM programs and technology vendors, focusing on projects that make the process of pulling data more efficient. Jessica gives it her all every day with her team, supporting other employees in every way she can, and continuing to learn and grow.
