Community impact

We’re driven to pay it forward.

We care deeply about giving our employees time and resources to take action in their local communities and champion causes that promote the greater good. We believe we have a responsibility to be proactive and help enhance the well-being of our community and support our neighbors in need.

Throughout our 30-year history, our team has stepped up and supported organizations doing important community work — from making significant financial donations, to volunteering our time, to gathering boxes of high-need, essential items — we’re here to make a lasting impact.

Global citizens

Our teams across the globe look for ways to give back and make a difference in their local community.

The Ben to The Shore Bike Tour

For almost two decades, Families Behind the Badge Children’s Foundation (FBBCF) has been NSM’s largest philanthropic initiative. The annual “The Ben to The Shore” charity ride is the cornerstone of our culture focused on giving back and serving others. The annual 65-mile bike ride supports families of fallen or injured first responders, as well as children’s charities in the Greater Philadelphia and South Jersey areas.

Community impact

NSM CEO Geof McKernan serves as chairman of the board for FBBCF and as an avid cyclist himself, has participated in the ride longer than NSM has been a sponsor. NSM is now the lead sponsor of the annual ride and engages team members to get behind the organization — and the wheel — through participating in the ride, personal fundraising and volunteering onsite at the ride and celebratory after-party.
