Meet Our NSM “Yogis”

Yoga pose

In honor of National Wellness Month this August, we are spotlighting the “Yogis” of NSM — our team members who participate in the company’s yoga class every Wednesday in the fitness center at our Conshohocken headquarters. Health and fitness is a key pillar of the culture at NSM — from a company softball team to a cycling club to an onsite state-of-the-art gym —there’s something for everyone!

Our “yogi” team members take a break from their insurance careers to participate in our weekly yoga class to help recharge their minds and bodies. The class is led by yoga instructor Sarah Carbo and all team members are welcomed — regardless of experience level! As Sarah says, “It’s yoga practice, not yoga perfect!”

Sarah helps our team members try different styles of yoga, tackle new poses and try out different breathwork techniques, which can benefit you during a busy workday — even when you’re not on the yoga mat! The weekly class is also a great way for our team members to meet new people from various departments across NSM, get to know each other better and build relationships and camaraderie.

“Class is a great way to ground myself midway through the week. I can reenergize and refocus my mind and body to take on the remainder of the week.”

– Kevin Cornell, CPS Senior Underwriter
