NSM’s motto is “Build Success” — and our team members continually give their all to accomplish the impossible! To honor those who have gone above and beyond, we began hosting our Annual Crystal Awards back in 1999, which serves as our “Employee of the Year” award.

On June 2, we hosted our Crystal Award dinner at our Conshohocken headquarters and honored both our 2020 and 2021 winners!

2020 Winners: Nik Umrani, Chief Information Officer and the NSM IT Team

After being unable to celebrate our 2020 award winners due to the Covid-19 pandemic, we took this opportunity to also honor the NSM IT Team for their outstanding service.

From the start of the pandemic, our IT team worked day and night to overcome unexpected obstacles and ensure we continued to operate efficiently and effectively — without missing a beat. The weight of the company rested on their shoulders and they truly carried us through remote working and had us up and running in no time!

Thank you to CIO Nik Umrani and the entire global IT team, you truly are technology superheroes!

 

2021 Winners: Steve Picciocchi, HR Director and Diane Mason, Office & Facilities Administrator

After another year of facing unimaginable challenges, we honored two of our HR leaders for their outstanding service to our entire NSM enterprise — Steve Picciocchi, NSM HR Director and Diane Mason, NSM Office & Facilities Administrator.

When Steve Picciocchi joined the NSM HR team almost four years ago, he had no idea the impact he’d make on the company as a whole. Starting with only a team of two people, Picciocchi has since quadrupled the size of the HR department and created a shared services model to support the entire NSM enterprise.

NSM was fortunate enough to gain another shining star four years ago — Diane Mason. Though she originally started working for NSM as the front desk receptionist, after discovering her abilities, her role quickly grew into leading our office operations and employee engagement initiatives at our various office locations across the U.S.
