NSM CEO & Founder Geof McKernan Named 2024 Mission Kids Champion and Honoree

At the 15th Annual Mission Possible Gala held in April during National Child Abuse Prevention Month, Geof McKernan, NSM’s CEO and Founder, was named the 2024 Mission Kids Champion and Honoree. Geof was honored alongside Kevin R. Steele, Montgomery County District Attorney. 

Honorees were recognized for their many years of dedication, volunteer service and leadership supporting Mission Kids. The gala was attended by more than 300 guests and strives to raise awareness and funds toward the organization’s mission of achieving healing and justice for victims of child abuse. Mission Kids offers forensic interviews, medical and mental health services, family advocacy and prevention education and training.

Geof is passionate about engaging in philanthropic initiatives and supporting organizations across the Greater Philadelphia region. Along with his longstanding support of Mission Kids, Geof is an active supporter of The Union League Legacy Foundation, the Caron Foundation and is Chairman of the Board for the Families Behind the Badge Children’s Foundation (FBBCF), a nonprofit organization that provides financial assistance for families of fallen first responders. NSM is the lead corporate sponsor of FBBCF’s annual The Ben to the Shore Bike Tour where over 2,000 people ride 65 miles to raise funds for this important community organization.
